Mia Wasikowska is back on the red carpet!
The 33-year-old actress stepped out and joined her co-stars for the premiere of zero club during the 2023 Cannes Film Festival on Monday (May 22) in Cannes, France.
Mia joined Mathieu Demy, Elsa Zylberstein, Luke Barker, Lukas Turtur, Amir El-Masry and Gwen Currant, with director Jessica Hausner, just before the screening of the new film.
This is Mia’s first red carpet appearance in a few years. She finds out why she backed down and moved out of Hollywood in the first place.
Ashley Graham, Coco Rocha, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Jasmine Tookes, Martha Hunt, Caylee Cowan, Urvashi Rautela and Izabel Goulart were also seen on the red carpet.
Here’s the recap of the movie: A teacher accepts a job at an elite school and forms a strong bond with five students, a relationship that eventually takes a dangerous turn.
According Varietythe screening featured a pretty gross scene, causing an audience member to walk out.
The scene was described as “a disturbing scene in which a student who made herself vomit begins to eat her vomit as her parents look on in horror.”
