Melvin Louis was born in 1988 (age 32 years; as in 2019) in Mumbai.

He did his schooling from Our Lady of Good Counsel High School, Mumbai. Since his childhood, he was passionate about dancing and wanted to pursue dancing as his career. In 2009, Melvin Louis participated in the reality TV show, Dance India Dance. However, he got eliminated in round two of the auditions.

Before beginning his career as a full-time dancer, he was an investment banker. In 2006, he opened his own YouTube channel and started posting his dance videos in it. In 2019, he appeared in the song of Emiway Bantai titled “Bajo.”

Controversy
In 2020, in an interview with a newspaper, Sana Khan revealed that she had broken up with Melvin on the ground that he was cheating on her. Following the revelation by the actress, Melvin released an audio clip, which reportedly, exposed Sana’s intentions of defaming Melvin on the public forum. Later, Sana, in an interview accused Melvin of blackmailing her with the clip and also being physically abusive towards her. Sana also took to her Instagram account to share the screenshots of her conversation with one of Melvin’s ex-girlfriends.
