Gilmore Girls Star Lauren Graham opens up about the sudden loss of her friend and co-star Matthew Perry.

“No one made me laugh so much. I mean, just tears flowing. There was so much joy in being around him and being friends with him,” Lauren said during an interview with CBS Mornings.
About last year, she said: “This last year, I was very proud of the book he wrote and how many people it touched. It was a success that gave him a level of happiness. “I haven’t seen him in a long time, so it’s a nice memory.” Matthew spoke openly about her struggle with addiction and wrote about it in his 2022 memoir.
Of his death, Lauren shared: “I’m still in shock. It’s a really tragic loss and he leaves behind his beautiful work, and that’s something to be grateful for. Again, the book really meant something to him, so it was a very happy year for him.”
