Comedian Matt Rife publicly apologized to his ex-girlfriend Kate Beckinsale and her ex Pete Davidson!
In case you forgot, the 28-year-old funnyman and the 50-year-old actress dated in 2017, before he “faded away,” but they were spotted together again in 2018.
Kate was then linked to Pete in 2019 and Matt shared some advice to get the comedian “running.”
In a recent interview, Matt apologized to both Kate and Pete for his comments from a few years ago.

“I gave that advice because I was only speaking from personal experience, after having been together and discovering that we were not the most compatible couple,” he said in sheThe video of The Thirst Trap. “I wanted to make sure they were both careful with their emotions and didn’t go into something they wouldn’t do either, that wouldn’t work either.”
The initial question was: “You once advised Pete Davidson to run away and be careful when dating Kate Beckinsale. Why was this your advice? After her first answer, he was told that he had only answered half, so he then added more.
“I advised him to be careful because I had just ended a relationship with someone and unfortunately I discovered that we were not compatible,” she said. “And I always want people to, you know, protect their emotions and their personal feelings.”
“And I told him to run because he was being a mean jerk. “I’m sorry I said that,” Matt added. “Pete, if you’re there, I’m sorry I said that. Kate, I also apologize for saying that. I should not have said that”.
He also confirmed that he is currently dating actress Jessica Lord.
