Since childhood, Masoom was inclined towards singing. He used to present Haryanvi raganis during cultural programs in his hometown. In 2009, he launched his first music album “Jalwa Haryana”, composed of eight audio songs, but the album failed to impress the audience. After receiving an average response from the audience for his debut album, Masoom, Mukesh Grover, along with his friend, launched a company called GV Videos, which released cassettes and DVDs of Haryanvi songs from Masoom. In 2014, Masoom lent his voice to Anjali Raghav’s song Kothe Chad Lalkaru. Received death threat on phone
On March 16, 2021, Masoom Sharma received death threats over WhatsApp calls and texts. First, the caller threatened and abused the innocent through a WhatsApp call, and later he sent a WhatsApp message and threatened her to kill her family members. He said,
When I asked the caller for his identity, he did not answer and disconnected the call.
Alarmed by the call, Maisom immediately lodged a complaint at Julana police station to identify the accused.

In December 2021, a woman had filed a complaint at Julana police station against Masoom Sharma and three others, Gaurav, Vikas and Deepak, for allegedly sexually assaulting her and intimidating her with death threats. In her complaint, the woman claimed that she was raped by Masoom’s brothers, Vikas and Deepak, and a mutual friend of theirs, Gaurav. The woman alleges that Gaurav demanded money from her. 48000 rupees in the name of treatment of his ailing mother. On the complaint of the woman, a case has been registered against Masoom, Deepak, Vikas and Gaurav.

In July 2022, Masoom Sharma was accused of shooting at Vishvesh Chauhan with his revolver at his residence in Rohtak, Haryana. - In 2021, a man named Manish Sharma, a resident of Nangal village in Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh, created a fake account on Facebook in the name of Masoom Sharma and sent messages to random girls on the pretext of providing them modeling opportunities in music videos. Manish reportedly posed as Masoom Sharma and chatted inappropriately with several girls, which ultimately tarnished Masoom’s image among the girls.
