On March 16, 2021, Masoom Sharma received death threats over WhatsApp calls and texts. First, the caller threatened and abused the innocent through a WhatsApp call, and later he sent a WhatsApp message and threatened her to kill her family members. He said,

In December 2021, a woman had filed a complaint at Julana police station against Masoom Sharma and three others, Gaurav, Vikas and Deepak, for allegedly sexually assaulting her and intimidating her with death threats. In her complaint, the woman claimed that she was raped by Masoom’s brothers, Vikas and Deepak, and a mutual friend of theirs, Gaurav. In July 2022, Masoom Sharma was accused of shooting at Vishvesh Chauhan with his revolver at his residence in Rohtak, Haryana.
