Kelly Ripa recently jokingly criticized Mark Consuelos on live television for being the reason she had a sleepless night.
In Lives with Kelly and Mark Last Wednesday, Consuelos couldn’t contain his admiration for his wife and co-host, showering her with praise for her beauty. Ripa jokingly warned viewers that her praise might not be entirely sincere.
“You’re so sweet, you’re so kind. “He’s making it up to me because Mark kept me up all night last night,” she admitted. The crowd erupted into a symphony of “ahhs” as Consuelos dramatically banged the table, grinning like a mischievous mastermind.
Consuelos responded to the audience’s reaction by leaning back, flexing his biceps, and flashing a lascivious smile, all while the crowd continued to cheer him on.
Meanwhile, Ripa seemed unimpressed and responded by shaking her head. “No, no, it’s not that, it’s not what you think, it’s not what you think,” she insisted.
Ripa explained that she had trouble sleeping because her husband talked a lot and made a multitude of sounds with his snoring the night before. “I was snoring a lot, so I put on some noise-cancelling headphones,” she told the audience.
Unfortunately, Ripa couldn’t fall asleep despite listening to Keith Morrison’s “Dateline NBC” podcast. “I couldn’t hear Keith Morrison because of the snoring, so I started pushing you and shaking you, and some light kicks and some light hits on the bed next to you, and you wouldn’t, you couldn’t. [stop]”he recalled.
Mark Consuelos took Kelly Ripa’s taunts in stride and joked that maybe she was dying. “You were not here!” Ripa insisted between laughs.

Consuelos, 52, and Ripa, 53, secretly married at the Chapel of the Bells in Las Vegas on May 1, 1996. The couple, blessed with their sons Michael (26), Joaquín (21) and their daughter Lola (22). , will celebrate their 28th wedding anniversary this year.
Ripa and Consuelos have already commemorated the next milestone in their relationship by revisiting their wedding venue. In February, the couple recreated their wedding photos.
The couple’s story began in 1995 when Consuelos and Ripa met during a screen test for All my kids. The spark between them was immediate, leading to Consuelos being cast as Ripa’s on-screen love interest.
Their professional connection soon turned into a real-life romance. In less than a year they were married in Las Vegas.
