Mark Consuelos remains honest and loyal about his long-term marriage to Kelly Ripa.
During Tuesday’s episode of Lives with Kelly and Mark, Consuelos revealed to his wife of almost 30 years that he kissed another woman while celebrating Italian soccer team Campobasso 1919’s championship victory over the weekend.
“In the adulation, in the celebration, on the field, when we found out that the other team tied and we are champions… We ran to our fans,” Mark Consuelos told Kelly Ripa.
“I’m running… and I see this lady, let’s call her my aunt – maybe someone else’s aunt – and we look at each other and we’re so excited and there’s this [plex]glass and we get to the glass and you know what? I kissed her.”
Ripa, who co-owns the team with Consuelos, is not convinced this incident really happened. “Do we have any footage of this?” she asked. “Don’t we have images of it?
Despite having no video evidence, Mark Consuelos insisted the incident really happened. He even hilariously recreated her and the woman’s eyes meeting as they kissed between the plexiglass.
“I put one on him,” he declared. “It was a kiss, but a passionate one.”
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos met on the set of All my kids in 1995. They eloped on May 1, 1996 and today they celebrate their 28th anniversary. To celebrate their anniversary, the duo posted a series of snaps on their Instagram Stories.
They share three children, Michael, Lola and Joaquín. After Ryan Seacrest’s departure, the couple began co-hosting the morning talk show last year.

Days before their 28th anniversary, Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa opened up about the early days of their relationship and marriage. Consuelos recalled feeling at ease when he and Ripa decided to elope to Las Vegas.
“I wasn’t stressed at all,” he explained. “Just so you know, I’m not cowed. When I make a decision, I stick to it.”
She continued to stand firm about how she felt the day of her elopement, telling Ripa, “If you look at the wedding photo we took at the Chapel of the Bells, that’s who you are.” [mimics Kelly looking stiff].”
When Kelly Ripa said she was just cold and not stressed, Mark Consuelos stated, “Were you cold? It was 100 degrees outside!”
Although it was a warm day in Las Vegas, Ripa said it was cold at the Chapel. To which Consuelo responded that the real problem was that she wasn’t wearing anything. She then pointed to her wedding dress.
“Well, it’s a long dress, but it’s very… that fabric that doesn’t cover up,” Ripa added.
