Margot Robbie is talking about the girl she likes!
On Thursday night (November 16), the 34-year-old Barbie The actress, her husband Tom Ackerley and her LuckyChap Entertainment producing partner Josey McNamara were honored with the Producer of the Year award at the 2023 Variety The Power of Women event.
In her acceptance speech, Margot revealed the singer she is “secretly in love with”!

The trio received the award from Dua Lipa, who said in her speech: “Since 2014, LuckyChap has been championing female filmmakers. This mission is part of the company ethos – celebrating female storytellers and strong female characters, and employing female HODs – but if you talk to Margot, Tom and Josey, they’ll tell you it’s just good business.”
“As filmmakers, the LuckyChap team leads with humor, empathy, and heart every step of the way,” Dua continued. “They are involved in all facets of their projects, from creating hands-on, immersive environments on set, which became home to a truly epic dance party in the film, to touching moments where audiences from all over “The world was challenged with the idea of what it means to be human.”
Although Margot wrote an acceptance speech, unfortunately she was unable to read it aloud because she recently lost her voice. Then, Margot’s husband, Tom, read her speech, in which Margot revealed that she is “secretly in love” with Dua.
“We know, so I promise here and now, in front of all these people and Dua Lipa (whom I’m secretly in love with), not to leave all the speeches to Margot for now,” Tom read, as Margot blushed and Dua laughed.
Margot’s speech mocked the two “guys” who spoke for a woman in a Women’s power event.
“But it’s me, Margot, who writes this. I have to say, the only thing I like more than seeing women supporting women is seeing men supporting women,” Tom read to Margot. “I’ve watched for the past 10 years as these two guys have dedicated their careers to supporting women in this industry and nothing could make me love them more.”
