According to the Daytime Confidential, actor Marcus Coloma, who played Prince Nicholas Cassadine on ABC’s General Hospital for three years, has left the show. According to the tabloid, the actor refused to film some of his final scenes in the series “after realizing that he had been dumped”. There is currently no word on whether a new actor will be hired for the role. According to a spokesperson for the show, Soap Opera Digest:
“The role of Nikolas Cassadine will no longer be played by Marcus Coloma. The final episode will air at the end of January.”
