At the nation’s highest court: on the cusp of change, Supreme Court award-winning reporter and attorney Marcia Coyle will discuss the Panel at the Centennial Nonpartisan Policy Debate Season. Steamboat 15th Anniversary.

On Monday, August 7 at 5:30 p.m., Coyle will host a panel discussion at the Strings Pavilion. 16h45 start to distribute free tickets and open.

The National Law Review, a national weekly specializing in law and litigation, hires Coyle as its chief correspondent in Washington. She is a journalist and attorney who has worked for the US Supreme Court for 28 years. She is a frequent contributor of Supreme Court analysis to PBS’s The NewsHour. She wrote “The Court of Roberts: The Struggle for the Constitution”.

Coyle spent more than ten years covering local, state, and federal politics for newspapers in Pennsylvania before joining the National Law Review. She has written for publications such as Vogue, Ms. and the New York Times Book Review on the Supreme Court and other legal topics. She also contributed to “A Year in the Life of the Supreme Court of the United States.”

Hood College awarded Coyle a bachelor’s degree; Northwestern University awarded her a master’s degree in journalism; and the University of Baltimore Law School awarded her a law degree.

Her reporting has won numerous national journalism awards, including the Judiciary Association of America’s Toni House Journalist Award for a career that includes reporting on the nation’s courts and justice system, the National Judiciary Award, and the Toni House Journalist Award. Investigative Reporter and Editor Award for Outstanding Investigative Reporting and the George Polk Award for Legal Journalism.
