His father, Girishchandra Joshi, is a retired scientist from the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai. Mansi has a brother- Kunjan Joshi and a sister- Nupur Joshi. Kunjan works as an entomological researcher and is also a badminton player, and Nupur works as the manager of her sister- Mansi.

livelihood
When she was 6 years old, she used to play badminton with her father. After completing his graduation, he worked as an engineer in ATOS India, a private company. She represented Maharashtra in the selection trials for the Asian Games in 2014 and in the same year, she won against Arjuna Award winner Parul Parmar. In 2018, he started his training from the P. Gopichand Badminton Academy in Hyderabad.

- In 2011, her life became miserable when she was driving on her two-wheeler. A truck hit him and crushed his left leg and his leg had to be amputated due to an infection in his leg. After staying in the hospital for 50 days, she started walking with the help of an artificial leg. He participated in the badminton tournament of his office and won the match and this gave him a new direction in life.
