He was born on Sunday, 11 June 1989 (age 30 years; as in 2019) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. His zodiac sign is Gemini. He did his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya of Atomic Energy, Mumbai and later, he graduated in Electronic Engineering from KJ Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai.

His father, Girishchandra Joshi, is a retired scientist from the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai. Mansi has a brother- Kunjan Joshi and a sister- Nupur Joshi. Kunjan works as an entomological researcher and is also a badminton player, and Nupur works as the manager of her sister- Mansi.
livelihood
When she was 6 years old, she used to play badminton with her father. After completing his graduation, he worked as an engineer in ATOS India, a private company. She represented Maharashtra in the selection trials for the Asian Games in 2014 and in the same year, she won against Arjuna Award winner Parul Parmar. In 2018, he started his training from the P. Gopichand Badminton Academy in Hyderabad.
