Manpreet Monica Singh was born on 6 July in Houston, Texas, United States of America (USA). His zodiac sign is Cancer. After completing his formal education, Manpreet started working as a lawyer in the US. In 2001, she became a certified mediator.
In 2002, she was certified by the US District Court for the Southern District of Texas. That same year, she became a certified court ad litem. In 2011, he began working as a certified attorney and member of the board of directors with The Sikh Coalition, a Sikh-American advocacy group. In addition to practicing law, he has also taken numerous continuing legal education (CLE) classes for the American Board of Trial Advocates, University of Texas Law School, the State Bar of Texas, and the Harris County Judiciary. Manpreet has served as a Chapter Representative at the American Board of Trial Advocates and also served on the Texas Grievance Committee, South Asian Chamber of Commerce, South Asian Bar Association as well as the American Board of Advocates as a Houston Chapter Representative Is. Manpreet contested and won the general election for Harris County Civil Court at Law No. 4 as a Democratic Party candidate. The elections were held in November 2022. After applying for his candidacy, he said in an interview,
I am excited and proud to announce my candidacy for Harris County Civil County Court Judge at Law No. 4. As a native Houstonian, it is my hope to represent our community that values diversity and servant leadership. It’s an honor to be able to represent your community. I hope I get the blessings of all the Sikhs around the world.
He was sworn in as Harris County Civil Court judge on January 6, 2023. While giving an interview after winning the election, Manpreet said,
Houston is a very different city. I will bring the perspective of being a first-generation immigrant and a woman. I practice law so that part becomes fluid. It means a lot to me because I represent H-Town (a nickname for Houston) the most, so this is for us, I’m happy for it.

Manpreet has also said that while working under a senior lawyer, he had advised him to present himself as an American and not an American-Indian. He further said that his boss used to ask him to tell people that his parents are Indian, but he is an American. Talking about this in an interview he said,
My boss always advised me to mention that I was from America. He used to ask me to make people realize that my parents are from India and I am not.
