Manish Malhotra was born on 5 December 1966 (age 55 years; as in 2021) in Westminster, London, UK. His zodiac sign is sagittarius. His childhood was spent in the suburbs of Mumbai. He took admission in Elphinstone College. She did not receive any formal training in fashion designing, but her passion for drawing and sketching, cinema and dress took her into the world of costume designing.

There is not much information about Manish’s family. His father Sooraj Malhotra died on 18 November 2019 after being unwell for some time. He was 90 years old at the time of death. He has a nephew named Punit Malhotra, who is a film director in Bollywood.

Controversy
The controversy between Manish Malhotra and Anushka Sharma was much talked about. Anushka chose all her wedding dresses designed by Sabyasachi instead of Manish. Manish was also not seen at the reception ceremony of Anushka and Virat Kohli. It all started with the sets of “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” and Anushka’s wedding dress in the film. She was worried about the dress and said that it was giving her a bridal feeling. Later Manish laughed it off by saying that this is all a misconception.
