Manifest Season 4 Cast & Character Guide

Warning: Spoilers for Manifest season 4 part 1The Manifest cast going into the series finale hasn’t changed much but it is important to know what everyone is up to. With the show inching toward the end of the journey for the Flight 828 passengers, it’s only fitting that the mystery drama has brought everyone together. With the Death Date on the horizon, it’s obviously important for nearly all of the Flight 828 passengers to be on hand for the end of the story.

Typically, a series revived after a cancelation doesn’t always bring back its entire cast, as many involved tend to move on to new projects. However, the move to Netflix, fortunately, hasn’t stopped Manifest from reassembling its cast. There were no glaring absences in the first 10 episodes of Manifest’s fourth and final season, which culminates on June 2.

Melissa Roxburgh as Michaela Stone

Melissa Roxburgh, who played bit roles in various shows and movies such as Legends of Tomorrow and Star Trek Beyond, has had top billing in the Manifest cast since the beginning of the series. At the start of the Manifest season 4 timeline, Roxburgh’s Melissa Stone is no longer an NYPD detective, but that fact hasn’t lessened her involvement in the show’s central conflict in any way. Going into Manifest season 4 part 2, Michaela will still be dealing with the aftershocks of Zeke’s death after he passed away in her arms.

Josh Dallas as Ben Stone

Ben Stone turning to his right in Manifest

Before the role in the Manifest cast was recast with Zachary Levi in Thor: The Dark World, Josh Dallas was the MCU’s Fandral in the first Thor movie. He also starred in Once Upon a Time as Prince Charming for six seasons. In season 4, Dallas is back as Ben Stone, the de-facto leader of the Flight 828 passengers and the character with the strongest commitment to solving the Callings. Going into Manifest season 4, part 2, Ben has officially escaped with Eden and is reveling in the fact that Cal is alive.

Ty Doran as Cal Stone

Cal looking at the camera and crying in Manifest.

For three seasons, Ben and Grace’s son in the Manifest cast was portrayed by Jack Messina, but Cal’s sudden aging in the season 3 finale resulted in the role being recast. In the season’s closing minutes, newcomer Ty Doran debuted as the new, 17-year-old Cal. Given that Cal is one of the show’s principal characters, it’s not surprising that Doran was made a series regular for Manifest season 4. Cal miraculously survived pulling Angelina into a Calling of his own and going head to head, resulting in breaking the omega sapphire. Zeke absorbs Cal’s cancer to save his life, as he’s the key to stopping the apocalypse.

Luna Blaise as Olive Stone

Olive looking concerned in Manifest

The teenage daughter of Ben and Grace in the Manifest cast is Olive Stone, played by Luna Blaise (Fresh off the Boat) While not a passenger, Olive has become increasingly involved in Ben and Michaela’s efforts to understand the Callings, prevent the Death Date, and discover the history behind the phenomenon surrounding Flight 828’s disappearance. Olive discovers the connection between Cal’s tattoo and the papyrus TJ brings back from the university, furthering his connection to stopping the apocalypse in Manifest season 4 part 2.

Parveen Kaur as Saanvi Bahl

Saanvi sitting at her desk in her office on Manifest.

Saving Hope’s Parveen Kaur is Dr. Saanvi Baal in the Manifest cast, one of the Stones’ biggest allies in Manifest. After finally earning her redemption in Manifest season 3’s ending, Saanvi has restored her connection to the Callings ahead of the show’s final chapters. With her scientific expertise, Saanvi has been integral to the passengers’ efforts to unravel the show’s mysteries. Saanvi continues to use her knowledge to beat the Death Date, only to realize that all of her research and samples has been stolen by Dr. Gupta, and she’s taken into custody along with the other passengers ahead of Manifest season 4 part 2.

J.R. Ramirez as Jared Vasquez

Jared talking in Manifest

J.R. Ramirez (Power and Jessica Jones) plays Jared Vasquez in the Manifest cast, a character who continues to be part of a love triangle with Zeke and his ex-girlfriend, Michaela. Similar to Olive, Jared isn’t a passenger but has been instrumental to every major storyline in Manifest. His romantic woes involving Michaela sent him down a questionable path in previous seasons, but Jared has since proven that he’s someone the Flight 828 passengers can count on when they need him. However, he and Drea are powerless when the registry apprehends all the passengers going into Manifest season 4 part 2.

Matt Long as Zeke Landon

Zeke looking sad in Manifest

After season 3 was canceled, Zeke actor of the Manifest cast Matt Long was cast as the male lead in the pilot for NBC’s Getaway show. The news created concerns that Long, who previously starred in Syfy’s Helix, either wouldn’t return to Manifest or would have a reduced role. However, neither scenario came to pass. NBC decided against picking up Getaway, making it possible for Long to continue on as a Manifest series regular. Zeke sacrifices himself to save Cal’s life by absorbing his cancer and dies in Michaela’s arms. Hopefully, divine consciousness will allow him and Michaela to communicate in Manifest season 4, part 2.

Holly Taylor as Angelina Meyer

Angelina from Manifest, staring, wide-eyed.

Holly Taylor, who recurred in Manifest season 3 as Angelina Meyer, has been bumped up to series regular in the Manifest cast for the final season. Angelina having a greater role makes sense, especially when considering season 3’s setup. Angelina killing Grace and kidnapping Eden in the finale naturally put her on the radar of several key characters. She faced off against Cal and lost and also lost Eden to Ben. Angelina declares she is an archangel sent by God to deliver vengeance on the world. She managed to keep a shard of the shattered omega sapphire going into Manifest season 4 part 2.

Daryl Edwards as Robert Vance

Vance wearing a jacket and a bullet proof vest standing in front of stairs in Manifest.

Like Taylor, Daryl Edwards of the Manifest cast was promoted to a series regular role for Manifest season 4. After seemingly dying in a season 1 episode and missing out on a portion of season 2, the former NSA director has been working hard to help the passengers survive. As a huge player in the story, he was undoubtedly the show’s most important recurring character ahead of season 4. Dr. Gupta broke into his lab ahead of season 4 part 2, and he and Saanvi were forced to destroy everything at his secret lair when they are invaded by the registry.

Jared Grimes as Adrian Shannon

Manifest Season 2 Adrian wearing a hat

Jared Grimes plays Adrian Shannon in the Manifest cast, the Flight 828 passenger who led the Church of the Returned in season 1. Since then, he’s adopted the mindset that the Callings are actually evil. Adrian is saved by Vance, Michaela, and Jared after cooperating with Angelina to escape the warehouse and she leaves him there to die once her bindings are freed. Also, it’s worth noting that Adrian has had a recurring presence in every season of Manifest. Jared Grimes has appeared in Boardwalk Empire, Swing Kids, and Fringe.

Ellen Tamaki as Drea Mikami

Drea raising her eyebrows in disbelief in Manifest standing in the police station

Originally introduced as Michaela’s new partner at the police department, Ellen Tamaki’s Drea of the Manifest cast no longer works with Michaela in a professional capacity. However, she’s continued to express an interest in helping the main characters and is one of the only people on the police force still in a position to help. She is appalled when passengers are forcibly detained indefinitely by the government in Manifest season 4, part 1, and is still in search of the real serial killer after finding out that Ted Colvin was being bribed. Tamaki also appeared in the Charmed reboot and will soon play Lisa in the TV show Die Trying.

Ali Lopez-Sohali as Eagan Tehrani

Eagan from Manifest looking at someone, angrily.

Disliked by most of the characters for his morally dubious decision-making and selfish attitude, Eagan of the Manifest cast has a photographic memory that makes his Callings particularly useful. That being said, his tendency to cause trouble has made him more of an antagonist than a true ally. In the Manifest season 3 finale, he was arrested for kidnapping Vance’s son. He eventually does the right thing in Manifest season 4 part 1 by telling Michaela and Jared that Angelina has the omega sapphire. Lopez-Sohali has also appeared on Law and Order: SVU and will soon star in the short Fanny Price.

Major Manifest Season 4 Guest Stars

Olive leans over and explains something to a perplexed TJ in Manifest.

Garret Wareing as TJ Morrison: After exiting the Manifest cast in season 2’s penultimate episode and missing out on season 3 in its entirety, Garrett Wareing (Independence Day: Resurgence) has finally returned to Manifest as TJ Morrison, the passenger who helped the Stones investigate Al-Zuras’ journal. He helps Olive discover that Cal is the key to stopping the apocalypse in Manifest season 4, part 1.

Frank Deal as Captain Bill Daly: The Flight 828 pilot who vanished in season 1 returns – albeit briefly – in Manifest season 4. He was also the subject of a second mystery which presented itself in the season 3 finale. Daly suddenly appeared in the cockpit of the Fight 828 wreckage before disappearing again (with the plane). Deal has also starred in Eighth Grade and had a small role on The Outsider.

Francesca Faridany as Fiona Clarke: Having disappeared alongside Captain Daly in season 1, Fiona Clarke of the Manifest cast came back for a cameo in a season 4 episode. Before going missing, the Flight 828 passenger was a neural psychologist thrust into the public eye by the plane’s return. Faridany had a small role in Black Panther as a Museum Director and has appeared on Law & Order.

Nikolai Tsankov as Marko Valeriev: In Manifest season 1, the characters encountered Marko, a Bulgarian Flight 828 passenger and one of several people experimented on by the Major. Through the Callings, Marko shared an unexplained link to Cal, which was used to save both him and the other test subjects. Marko’s drawings led Eagan to the Masonic Temple of the Omega Order, where he thought the sapphire was. Tsankov can be seen in Little Ukraine and Litvinenko.

Ed Herbstman as Troy Davis: Troy, the Eureka scientist with an obvious crush on Saanvi of the Manifest cast, has helped the latter with several of her biggest breakthroughs in the Flight 828 mystery. He reappears as a member of the Project Eureka 828 task force, and appears to be working against his will. Herbstman was in The Big Sick as Sam and had a small role in Hustlers.

Mahira Kakkar as Aria Gupta: Despite approaching the passengers from a purely scientific viewpoint early on in season 3, Dr. Gupta eventually softened her stance on the Callings. She is responsible for taking Saanvi’s research and samples from Vance’s hideout in Manifest season 4 part 1. Kakkar has had roles in Blue Bloods, A Suitable Boy, and Hank and Asha.

Jacqueline Antaramian as Anna Ross: Prior to her return in season 4, Anna Ross of the Manifest cast made one appearance in season 1 as a translator and a Flight 828 passenger. She hid Angelina and Eden, being convinced that Ben was evil, but quickly found out this was a lie. Antaramian has also appeared in Jessica Jones, Archive 81, and The Siege.

Sheldon Best as Thomas: Thomas of the Manifest cast, who appeared in two season 1 episodes, is a Jamaican refugee who secretly boarded Flight 828 in the hopes of reuniting with his boyfriend in the United States. Sheldon Best has had roles in The Good Wife, Person of Interest, and Last Ferry.

Curtiss Cook as Radd Campbell: During season 1’s story, Ben teamed up with Radd Campbell of the Manifest cast, a Jamaican musician and a fellow Flight 828 passenger. Radd and Ben teamed up again in season 4 to follow a Calling and determined that Cal’s cancer had returned. Cook has appeared in Shutter Island, The Interpreter, and Arbitrage.
