Mamdouh Elssbiay began working as a fisherman after moving to Kuwait before beginning his professional training. After moving to Kuwait, he decided to attend the “Oxygen Gym” and one day start bodybuilding. He found success in this field immediately and it became clear that he possessed a natural ability for the sport. Furthermore, his friends convinced him to participate in a tournament and see how he could perform professionally.
He subsequently earned a Pro Card in his second tournament and won the 2012 Kuwait Gold Cup, making his amateur debut. Following this victory, he went on to participate in the Amateur Olympia, where he took first place and received the Pro Card from him. Despite his lack of experience, he won his first event at the New York Professional Championships in 2013.
