Maluma is living his dream right now and he wants the world to know it!
The 29-year-old singer revealed that he and his girlfriend Susana Gómez are expecting their first child together: a girl.
She opened up about fatherhood, pregnancy and more in an interview with NPR Music’s Alt.Latino. The hitmaker also confirmed the name of his daughter.

“It’s a great dream. I always dreamed of this. It’s the perfect moment. I mean, all the beautiful things I’m experiencing. I also look for more personal experiences. I love my music, I love being on tour. But I also want to continue growing as a human being, not just as an artist,” she gushed during the interview, adding that the pregnancy is also fueling his creativity.
After teasing the baby’s name in a music video, Maluma confirmed that they would call her Paris.
“Paris, our beautiful daughter, is growing inside her mother’s womb and gives me many reasons to continue dreaming. It’s like she reset my mind, you know? It’s like she is everything to me right now,” she said. “My days are brighter than ever.”
He’s not even born yet, but Maluma is already a loving father!
“I sing to him every day. Every day, during the morning, before going to bed. She kissed the belly. I feel like she is already there,” she said.
That will continue once she arrives. As for how she will balance parenthood with her job, she already has a plan.
“I don’t want to separate. I want her to live everything by my side. I want to see it with tours. I want to see her with me in the hotels. I want her to experience everything,” she explained.
He added: “As soon as the doctors say he can fly with me, man, he’s not going anywhere else but in daddy’s arms.”
