In the police complaint, filed on March 7, Plenel claims that Maiwenn assaulted him while he was eating in a Paris restaurant.

Variety reports that Maiwenn “reportedly walked up to his table and grabbed him by the hair before spitting in his face without saying a word, and then stormed out of the place.”

Plenel says he was “traumatized by the incident.”

Variety says that Maiwenn has never been the subject of a media part investigation, but her ex-husband Luc Besson has been the subject of a number of stories surrounding the #MeToo allegations.

There have been reports that Johnny and Maiwenn did not get along during the production of Joan of Barry.
