List of Triple Centuries in Test Cricket: Test cricket is the traditional format of cricket and is still popular among fans today. It is much slower and allows players to exhibit their full skillset instead of just focusing on entertainment like T20s. Test cricket was how the game was originally played as a gentleman’s sport.
There are tours and championships for test cricket as well and fans flock to catch their favourite players in action in huge numbers. Don Bradman, Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara, 3 of the greatest cricketers of all time are all known for their proficiency in test cricket.
A typical test match is 5 days long and a high score is the priority for the batting teams. The innings last a full day, until the entire batting order is dismissed or the team declares its score. It’s quite frequent in test games that players score double, triple and even quadruple centuries.
When a player hits a score of 300 or more, it is called a triple century in Cricket.
Only 8 Test-Cricket playing nations have so far scored a triple century in test matches while no player from Ireland, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe has ever scored 300 runs.
David Warner (Australia) became the latest triple-century scorer in Test Cricket. Warner achieved this feat on 30 November 2019 against Pakistan. He scored 335* and became the 31st triple century scorer in the World. You can check the list of all triple centuries in test cricket below.

List of Triple Centuries in Test Cricket: Highlights
1- Brian Lara and Chris Gayle (West Indies), Donald Bradman (Australia), and Virender Sehwag (India) are the only batsmen to score 300 plus score more than once in the test matches.
2- The highest score (400) in the test match was achieved by the great Brian Lara. He also happens to be the only player who had scored more than 350 runs on two occasions in Test Cricket.
3- The quickest Test triple-century in terms of time (4 hours 48 minutes) was scored by Wally Hammond in 1932–33.
4- The fastest triple century in terms of balls (278 balls) was scored by Virender Sehwag against South Africa in Chennai in 2008.
5- Australia holds the record for scoring the most triple centuries in Test Cricket (8).
6- Headingley in Leeds, England, and the Antigua Recreation Ground in St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda are the two Cricket grounds that have witnessed the most triple centuries– three each.

Hanif Mohammad (337) of Pakistan and Brendon McCullum (302) of New Zealand are the only two players who have scored triple centuries in the second innings of the test matches while the rest 29 centuries in test matches are scored in the first innings.
8 triple centuries have been scored by the Australian players, 6 by the West Indies players, and 5 by the England and Wales players. There are only two Indians who have achieved this feat, namely Virender Sehwag and Karun Nair.
