As we all know, the Premier is the head of the Government appointed by the Governor. According to the Constitution of India, the Prime Minister is the de facto executive of the state. The prime minister’s term is not fixed and he holds office at the will of the governor. But the governor cannot remove him as long as he has the support of a majority in the legislature. However, if he loses the trust of the council, he must resign or be dismissed by the governor.
