Lisa Vanderpump’s Pump restaurant closes after 10 years

Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant is closing.

Pump Restaurant Lounge in West Hollywood is closing its doors, the family confirmed to TMZ on Thursday (May 3) in a statement.

“It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Pump Restaurant’s lease is about to expire and we will be closing its doors on July 5, after 10 years of beautiful evenings under our olive trees,” they said.

“While we have enjoyed our time operating Pump, agreeing to another 10-year lease with a large rent increase from the landlords is not something we are willing to commit to. After successfully managing 37 properties for many years, this type of rental is unsustainable.”

Sources close to the family tell TMZ that Lisa and her husband Ken Todd refused to commit to paying almost $1 million in annual rent.

Lisa reportedly wanted to keep Pump open until June, because it’s Pride Month and she wants to “support the local community with one last hurray.”

High rent is also reportedly to blame for Lisa and Ken’s former Beverly Hills restaurant, Villa Blanca, sitting empty three years after the couple closed the restaurant due to a 2020 rent increase.

At the same time, Lisa will open two more restaurants at Caesars in Las Vegas.

“We look forward to welcoming everyone to TomTom & Sur in the coming months! Thank you for the past decade of support, we love our staff, our patrons and our time together,” the couple added in a statement.
