Lionel Richie is sharing his thoughts on plastic surgery.
In a new interview, the 73-year-old “All Night Long” singer explained why he has no plans to go under the knife for work and also revealed his secrets to looking young.

“[Plastic surgery] locks you up for that year [while you recover]and after that, you can’t just leave naturally, you stay there,” Lionel shared with The Daily Mail. “You try to restart again and you can’t. [And] That goes wrong!”
Another reason Lionel avoids plastic surgery is because “maybe God doesn’t recognize me, so I want to make sure he knows me.”
As for the way he’s trying to slow down the aging process, Lionel said he’s taking a more natural approach, which includes getting enough sleep, drinking plenty of water, and being intimate with his longtime love, Lisa Parigi.
“Water, sleep and sweat, not too much red meat,” Lionel shared. “I know it’s very boring. [Sex] it will work too and it is good for your heart.”
