Lindsay Lohan Brings Back ‘Parent Trap’ Twins for a ‘Prank’ on Jimmy Fallon

Lindsay Lohan is having some fun bringing back one of her early movies. She appeared in a Parent Trap go ahead Tonight’s show starring Jimmy Fallon. In the parody, host Jimmy Fallon saw double.

In the skit, posted to TikTok, Lohan enjoyed some Oreos backstage. Fallon appears and eats a cookie, but the host is surprised to see another version of her. That version of Lohan had a British accent.

She said, “At home, I eat them with peanut butter.” Lohan played the twins in the classic The Parent Trap. Fallon seemed confused to discover that Lohan was multiplying. He finally stopped trying to figure it out. He told them both, “Okay, I’ll see one of you there.”

Speaking at the film’s reunion, Lohan expressed her fondness for the film even today. He said people often treated her differently depending on the role she played. It was a strange experience.

“I feel like people treated me differently when I was Annie because Annie was a lot nicer and Hallie was a little like me,” Lohan explained. He said the film ended up being a great learning experience for her as an actress.

“I was so young and everything was so fresh,” Lohan said. “For me, my first audition for a movie, my first screen test. My first time in front of people like Nancy and Charles, and on a sound stage. “So I was like a child.”

Lohan called the scene in which one of the twins meets his father for the first time especially emotional.

“[It’s] just heartbreaking,” Lohan said. “Even in this day and age in the world, you forget how much you miss people until you’re with them when you haven’t seen them in a while. And I think those scenes really tear me apart.”

For Lohan, the film appealed to the “fantasy of your parents getting back together.” It’s something Lohan couldn’t do in real life.

“My parents were kind of splitting up at the time when all this was going on,” he continued. “And it made it a lot easier for me to play these characters who were figuring it out.”

Now she is focused on being the best mother she can be. However, she still acts as well.
