The 27-year-old actress, best known for her role as Betty Cooper on The CW series. riodaleShe has been candid about her struggles with image over the years.
Lili previously opened up about her body dysmorphia in a 2018 interview, criticized body-altering apps in a lengthy statement in 2019, and discussed her journey with self-love and acceptance last year.
Now, Lili is sharing her opinion on how guns are portrayed in the media.

“I wish there were more average-sized arms represented in mainstream women’s media. Has my body dysmorphia gone crazy because I feel like my arms need to be half the size they currently are? she tweeted on Thursday (September 14). “We’ve glamorized these slim arms that, for most of us, can only be achieved if you’re a literal teenager.”
Lili continued: “I really wonder how anyone survives or goes through this life without suffering from a serious TB disorder. Maybe it’s a cruel amplified version in combination with my OCD, but damn. The amount of time I’ve wasted thinking about my arms over the past few months is crazy. “I wanted to express my own thoughts so other women would know they are not alone.”
