Leona Lewis was present alongside composer Diane Warren to support her theme song from the new Apple TV+ series. jane at the premiere in Los Angeles.
The ladies walked the red carpet together at the premiere event on Friday night (April 14) at the California Science Center in Los Angeles.
jane is a 10-episode mission-based series for children and families, inspired by the work of Dr. Jane Goodall and starring young actress Ava Louise Murchison as the title character.
Leona performs the show’s theme song, “One Step Closer,” which was written by Diane.
“When I was asked to write the song for the new Apple TV+ series based on Jane Goodall’s mission, I couldn’t say yes fast enough. She is my hero. The work she has done has inspired many people, including me, and now she has inspired my song, ‘One Step Closer.’ I’m so excited to be a part of this! Leona Lewis was the perfect artist for this since, in addition to being one of the best singers in pop music, she is also a fellow animal defender warrior,” Diane said in a statement.
jane now streaming on Apple TV+.
