Lalo Rodriguez, a famous singer and guitarist, died on December 13 at the age of 64. Officers found his body near Sabana Abajo in Carolina, Puerto Rico. The Institute of Forensic Sciences reported that there were no signs of violence on Rodriguez’s corpse. When the authorities arrived at the scene after receiving a report of a motionless corpse, the female singer did not react.
Although Lalo got into many legal troubles due to his addiction to drugs and alcohol, it is uncertain whether they affected his death. Lal’s cause of death has yet to be determined, but an autopsy has been scheduled to find out more.

Lalo Rodriguez has been in the music business since 1973.
Lalo Rodriguez, born May 16, 1958, soon fell in love with singing. He has contributed vocals to Unfinished Masterpiece and worked on several CDs. In 1980, he started a solo career. He is known for his albums in the 1990s, during his career he has released a total of 22. In the early stages of his career, he collaborated with a number of musicians. Simplemente… Lalo, his first album with eight hits, was released in 1980 by Tierrazo Records.
In 1982, he wrote songs for his second album, Nuevamente… Lalo. After several more albums, his fifth album, Un Nuevo Despertar, topped the Billboard Tropical/Salsa chart in the United States. Sexsacional..!, Lalo Rodriguez’s second album, caused similar reactions. In 1992 and 1994, he released two more albums, Du Vuelta en la Trampa and Naci Para Cantar. Estoy Aqui, his last album, was released in 1996. Rodriguez went on to record many compilation albums, including Serie Sensacional, Antologia, Oro Salsero: 20 Exitos, Pura Salsa, 12 Favoritas and others. Between 1990 and 1992, three of his albums were re-released and reissued.
Although initially marketed independently, his 1990 release Nuevamente… Lalo, titled Una Voz Para Escuchar, was released by Capitol/EMI Latin. Rodriguez is known for her hit Ven, Devorame Otra Vez from the album Un Nuevo Despertar. Palmer Hernandez wrote the song, which peaked at number 10 on the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart in the United States. Musical duo Azucar Moreno and salsa singer Charlie Cruz later covered the song.
Other jobs
Lalo also co-produced and wrote the lyrics for several songs. In 1988, he appeared alongside Eddie Santiago at the annual New York Salsa Festival held at Madison Square Garden. The marketing of his items is handled by TH-Rodven, a company based in Spain, where he has worked for a long time.
