The divorce between Keeping Up With The Kardashians alum Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West keeps getting messier. After years of marital strife, Kim filed for divorce from Kanye in February 2021. Everyone knew the split would be a tedious process, as the two stars share four children together and millions of dollars worth of assets. It seemed as though Kim and Kanye were on amicable terms as they reached a settlement that allowed the SKIMS mogul to stay in their family home and worked toward co-parenting. The couple even sparked reconciliation rumors over the summer of 2021 as Kim supported Kanye through the release of his album Donda, though sources confirmed they were proceeding with their divorce.
Being the authentic musician he is, Kanye has used his breakup with Kim as inspiration for many of his more recent songs. Many tracks on Donda reveal Kanye’s alleged infidelity in their marriage, as well as his desire to keep his family together. For several weeks it seemed as though Kanye hoped to win Kim back as he called out to her onstage during a recent performance. That all changed when Kanye moved on with new flame Julia Fox, seemingly following in Kim’s footsteps with her new boyfriend, comedian Pete Davidson. Kanye just revealed what he really thinks of his ex and their situation in a brand new diss track.
Kanye slammed his estranged wife Kim in his new song with The Game, “Eazy,” People reports. Kanye raps, “We havin’ the best divorce ever / If we go to court, we’ll go to court together,” adding, “Matter of fact, pick up your sis, we’ll go to Kourt’s together” in reference to Kim’s sister Kourtney Kardashian (via Genius). Ye takes more shots at Kim about her parenting on the track, rapping, “I got love for the nannies, but real family is better / The cameras watch the kids, y’all stop takin’ the credit.”
Kanye then confirmed his children are the reason he bought a home close by to Kim’s Hidden Hills mansion. “Noncustodial dad, I bought the house next door / What you think the point of really bein’ rich for?” The Yeezy creator then touched on his and his ex-wife’s new flames, dissing her beau and praising his new fling. “God saved me from that crash / Just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass (Who?) / And my new b***h bad / I know Illuminati mad.”
It seems the media storm involving Kanye, Kim and their new relationships is only getting started. Because Kanye has a history of being messy, there’s no telling what turn their divorce drama will take next. Because Kim no longer needs to protect his reputation, however, Keeping Up With The Kardashians fans will be eager to see how the reality star responds to her ex’s diss.
