She grew up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Kiara had decided to become an actress at the age of just 13. He studied at an international school in Kuala Lumpur. While in school, Kira actively participated in school musical programs. To stay connected to his roots, he also learned Carnatic music and Bharatanatyam. After completing her schooling, Kira did B.Sc. in Psychology from University College London. After this he did a diploma in film acting from the New York Film Academy.
