“I think ultimately he’s enormously frustrated,” Phillips, the son of Princess Anne and her ex-husband, Captain Mark Phillips, told host Caroline Di Russo. “He’s frustrated because he can’t move on and do everything he wants.”

“But he is very pragmatic. [and] understand that there is a period of time when you really need to focus on yourself. He’s always pushing his doctors and nurses so they can say, ‘Actually, can I do this? Can I do that?” Phillips added of King Charles.

“So the overriding message would be that he’s obviously looking forward to getting back to some form of normality. And he’s probably frustrated that the recovery is taking a little longer than he probably would like,” Phillips speculated.
