The cast of the beloved Broadway musical Kimberly Akimbo has reached the Tony Awards 2023!
Victoria Clark and Bonnie Milligan walked the red carpet on Sunday night (June 11) at the United Palace Theater in Washington Heights in New York City.
They were joined by nominated co-star Justin Cooley.
Kimberly Akimbo is nominated for eight Tony Awards tonight, including Best Musical. Victoria is nominated for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical, Bonnie is nominated for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical, and Justin is nominated for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical.
In the new musical, Kimberly (Clark) is about to turn 16 and has recently moved her family to a new town in suburban New Jersey. Kim is forced to navigate family dysfunction, a rare genetic condition, her first crush…and possible felony charges. Always optimistic, she is determined to find happiness against all odds and embark on a great adventure.
