Kim Petras is opening up about a secret exchange she had with Madonna at the grammy at the beginning of this year.
In February, the Queen of Pop presented Kim and Sam Smith’s rendition of “Unholy” at the awards ceremony, sparking outrage from conservatives over the Satan-themed performance.

“I was so nervous. I was freaking out,” the “Coconuts” hitmaker recalled. People. “After her speech, she turned around and whispered to me, ‘Go get him, bitch.’ That made me feel like I got it.”
Kim added that she felt “a special connection to Madonna” because of the iconic musician’s relationship with gender and sexuality. “She wasn’t necessarily super feminine or super masculine, and she’s just Madonna.”
“I think Madonna gave me a lot of hope and strength and things when I needed them, even as a kid,” she added.
