A few days before the Met Gala, Kim Kardashian presents her last hairstyle before the big social event.
In his latest Instagram post, celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton shared a series of photos and a video showing the reality show with platinum blonde hair and a black fur coat.
“Ice Kimmy,” Appleton stated in the caption. “We wanted to keep a short root [and] the blood grows cold [and] creamy. “I colored it in a couple of sessions to keep the integrity of the hair nice and juicy.”
Kim Kardashian made her new look public on Saturday, April 27, while attending the Homeboy Industries 2024 Lo Máximo Awards and Fundraising Gala. Kardashian also wore the black fur coat with a pair of black Balenciaga pants and Balenciaga chain earrings.
This is not the first time the kardashians The star went platinum. She previously sported blonde locks when she wore Marilyn Monroe’s iconic dress at the 2022 Met Gala. She also dyed her hair blonde in 2015.
Kardashian and her new hairstyle will be among the celebrities attending the 2024 Met Gala on May 6.
Kim Kardashian recently met with Vice President Kamala Harris and clemency recipients to discuss criminal justice reform
Following in her famous father’s footsteps, Kim Kardashian headed to the White House last week to discuss criminal justice reform with Vice President Kamala Harris and clemency recipients.
According to ABC News, Kardashian’s conversation with the vice president included four recent pardon recipients: Jason Hernandez, Bobby Darrell Lowery, Jesse Mosley and Beverly Holcy.
During her meeting with Kim Kardashian, Vice President Harris praised the reality TV star for her advocacy and for using her platform “in a way that has really highlighted the importance of speaking out and dedicating yourself to second chances.”
Since 2018, Kardashian has been outspoken about criminal justice reform. She previously met with former President Trump to push for the commutation of the sentence of Alice Marie Johnson, who was serving 21 years in prison for a non-violent drug crime.
“I feel very honored to be here to continue this fight,” Kardashian told Vice President Harris. “To learn more every day, every visit, every administration. “I’m just here to help and spread the word.”
Then Vice President Harris said, “I firmly believe in the power of redemption. Isn’t it a sign of a civil society that we allow people to get back on their feet and give them the support and resources they need to do so?
The meeting came less than 24 hours after President Joe Biden granted clemency to 16 people. He pardoned 11 and commuted the sentences to five. All of whom were convicted of non-violent drug crimes.
