Khyati Yash Keswani was born on 12 September in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Her zodiac sign is Virgo. She wanted to become an actress since childhood. Khyati’s father was a teacher in an acting school, which introduced her to the entertainment industry. Recalling his childhood days in an interview, he said,
For an actor, being shy is a strange personality trait, but acting was destined for me because my father is from an acting school and all his director and actor friends from childhood used to come home. That’s why I had to do acting.”

Khyati made her acting debut at the age of seventeen as Sejal in the Star Plus show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (2000).
Subsequently, she appeared in several other Hindi television shows including Woh Rehen Waali Mahalon Ki (2005), Kesar (2004), CID (2002), Sssh…Koi Hai (2002), and Mamta (2006).
After a break of two years, Khyati returned to television in 2011 with the show Bindh Banunga. In an interview, he had said that he has taken a break from his work because of his children.
She worked in several other television shows including Dil Se Di Dua…Saubhagyavati Bhava (2011), Shubh Vivah (2012), and Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev (2011).
She is currently seen playing the role of Pallavi Vikram Kohli in Balaji Telefilms’ famous TV show Kumkum Bhagya (2019). Talking about his character he said,
I have received a lot of recognition. I have been a part of the show for two and a half years and it is inevitable when you are a part of one of the top three shows in the country. Whenever I go people recognize me but it is more because of my roles in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Dil Se Dil Tak. But now I am getting recognition only from Kumkum Bhagya and wherever I go, I am called Pallavi.

Khyati worked as a supporting actor in the film Nayak: The Real Hero (2001). She has also appeared as a journalist in the film Deha (2007). However, he claimed that he is more inclined to work in television shows rather than Bollywood films. In an interview he said,
I have never been a big fan of Bollywood. I have acted in Mahesh Manjrekar’s “Deha” but it happened because my husband is his friend. I also played a small role in “Nayak”, but as I said, it’s only TV for me. You know, I started my acting career when I was 17, but I always wanted to be an actor, not a star. For me, the role should be character based and not just glamorous and chic.”
