Kelly Ripa Complains She’s ‘at the Bottom of the Pile’ of Priorities for Husband Mark Consuelos

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Kelly Ripa turned on the bittersweet routine for her husband and co-host Mark Consuelos’ return to Lives with Kelly and Mark. She criticized her husband for not paying enough attention to her.

Andy Cohen has been co-hosting the show while Consuelos has been absent. Consuelos has been in Italy where he has been supporting his soccer club Campobasso FC. He returned energetic and excited about the football club.

He explained his achievements on the show.

“We thought we would lock in and do something that hadn’t been done in over a hundred years there, you know, get promoted two years in a row,” he shared, “and we tied. And the team chasing us won. Yes, so we were up four points. “Now we are only two points ahead with two games left.”

Consuelos says it has been a “roller coaster of emotions.” Consuelos explained that the club has gone from 150 fans to a stadium full of fans in the last year alone. It’s something he’s proud of.

“Look at that,” he gushed. “I think we had 6,000 people in the stadium. They are very excited. It means a lot to a city, to the people and to an entire region. Football is life.”

In response, Ripa says she’s proud of him, but Consuelos sensed danger and said, “Let’s not get too proud just yet.” And she was right. Ripa ended up criticizing him for not paying enough attention to her.

She said he showed an “infinite amount” of dedication. Just not for her. “In my next life, I want to be a soccer player in a soccer club that my husband owns because… I’ve been trying to get him to look at my blood tests at the doctor’s appointment for three months,” she said jokingly.

Consuelos joked that he was “looking at someone else’s blood test.”

Ripa continued: “I always tell him, ‘Hey, can you take a look at my numbers?’ I want to make sure that the good number is going in the right direction and the bad number in the other. I want all the numbers to be correct, but I’m not a footballer for your club, so I’m at the bottom of the list!

Consuelos promised to put her “back at the top of the list.” But then she quickly added: “After the season.”
