The 2024 Grammy Awards took place on February 4. The event was star-studded and industry tastemakers turned out to celebrate music’s biggest night. One of the stars of the event was reality star Kelly Osbourne.
Osbourne appeared on the red carpet with her boyfriend Sid Wilson, of the famous band Slipknot. Wilson’s red carpet outfit caught attention when he accessorized his look with a gas mask.
Ozzy Osbourne preparing for farewell shows
For those who don’t know, Kelly is the daughter of Ozzy Osbourne, who is perhaps the greatest rock star of all time. But as he’s gotten older, Osbourne doesn’t have the energy to perform consistently like he used to.
But Osbourne won’t leave music without a proper send-off. His wife and manager Sharon Osbourne says she will perform two more concerts to ‘say goodbye’.
“He won’t be touring again, but we’re planning on doing two more shows to say goodbye, because he feels like ‘I’ve never said goodbye to my fans and I want to say a proper goodbye,'” Osbourne told Rolling Stone.
“We will do it at Aston Villa where Ozzy is from. His voice is still absolutely perfect. And all the time he’s been free he continues taking singing lessons, so his voice is perfect. And he can joke, yes. He has all these melodies in his head. Even if you don’t like his music, you can’t not like Ozzy, he just draws you in.”
Sharon Osbourne reveals she tried to commit suicide
Ozzy and Sharon have been married for 41 years. Throughout his rise to becoming one of the greatest musical acts of all time, Shannon has been his manager.
But things haven’t always been rosy between the legendary couple. Ozzy was once caught cheating on his wife. Sharon recently revealed that after finding out about her infidelity, she attempted suicide.
“He always, always had admirers and I was very used to that. But when he knows the person’s name, where he lives and where he works… it’s something completely different since you’re emotionally involved. I took I don’t know how many pills,” she said.
“So I overdosed and locked myself in the bedroom. The maid tried to come in to clean the room and she saw me.”
