Kaushik LM was born in 1987 (age 35 years; as of 2022) in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. In 2007, he completed a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering at Madras Institute of Technology. In 2012, Kaushik LM attained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Media and Entertainment at Manipal Academy of Higher Education.

Career
Soon after completing his college studies, Kaushik LM joined Infosys in 2007 and began working as a Senior Systems Engineer. He served the position till May 2010. He then joined Behindwoods.com in July 2012 and began working as a Journalist and worked in the position till December 2015. In January 2016, Kaushik LM began working as a film reviewer in the Tamil film industry and started interviewing several celebrities on his verified Twitter handle by promoting their films and brands. Soon, he became a popular social media influencer. Later, he joined the Galatta YouTube channel as its full-time Video Jockey. Kaushik LM was also seen debating and discussing about films on noted YouTube channels such as Cinema Pesalam, Film Companion, and Cine Ulagam. Simultaeously, Kaushik LM began writing news stories, opinion columns, film reviews, music reviews, celebrity interviews, and box office reports in the entertainment section of various media houses including TheNewsMinute.
Death
He died on 15 August 2022 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. In a media interview, one of his colleagues stated that he was supposed to attend a media conference of the upcoming Tamil film Jiivi 2 along with its star cast but he did not turn up for the conference. Upon calling, he even did not pick up the phone. His colleague said,
He went to sleep around 2 pm, and did not wake up.”
