As his niece Kate Middleton battles cancer, Gary Goldsmith focused more on criticizing Meghan Markle in a recent interview.
While speaking to The Times earlier this month, Goldsmith did not hold back his disdain for the former. Suits star. He even went so far as to predict that Markle’s marriage to Prince Harry won’t last.
“Let’s face it, Laughing Girl isn’t going to be around forever, right?” Goldsmith stated. “I think she’s fickle. And I think she is very bad for Harry and for our country.”
The Times confirmed that Kate Middleton’s uncle refers to Meghan Markle as “the girl who laughs.” He later said that he didn’t appreciate the former actress accusing the royal family of making racist comments towards her.
“That’s why I’m so angry about what Meghan said about Kate,” Goldsmith continued. He was referring to Meghan Markle and claimed that the royals discussed the skin color of her son Archie before her birth.
Although many speculate it was Middleton and King Charles III, Markle has never revealed who they were.
“The idea of Laughing Girl saying Kate is racist makes me furious. Kate knows her family roots and is proud of them. “I’m sorry, but Laughing Girl is not good people.”
Goldsmith stated that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are among the reasons why Kate Middleton and Prince William are not as happy as they used to be. Middleton’s uncle also targeted Prince Andrew.
“He and that woman are chasing the American corporate dollar and that is very, very ugly. “William, Harry and Kate were such a happy little trio that everything was completely ruined.”
“With everything that’s going on, and there are other things that are not in the public domain, are you absolutely happy? No. Their children give them a lot of joy, but no.”
Although he had some strong words toward Meghan Markle, Kate Middleton’s uncle quickly walked back his comments from the Times interview after his niece announced her cancer diagnosis.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Goldsmith wrote: “As many of you will have seen, I appear on Saturday’s show. Time Magazine. “This interview and photo shoot took place over a week ago and was printed before I heard the sad news about my niece Kate.”

“I hope this puts an end to the continued speculation and horrible conspiracies. Let’s give Kate, Willia, [and] “The kids take the time and show them some love.”
