Although she has not been seen much in public since December 2023, Kate Middleton has reportedly continued her royal duties from home.

According to the New York Post, sources close to the Princess of Wales revealed that she was working from bed. The current projects she focuses on focus on improving the lives of newborns in the UK.

Kensington Palace also revealed that Kate Middleton has been very active in the Royal Foundation Center for Childhood (RFCEC) Shaping Us projects. Notably, she launched the project in January.

The campaign is said to be Middleton’s “life’s work” as she recovers from abdominal surgery. A Palace spokesperson also told the Telegraph: “The princess has been kept updated throughout the process.”

Kensington Palace previously announced that Middleton had undergone the procedure and was recovering. The royal did not reveal any further details about the surgery. But they did say that the Princess would resume her duties after Easter.

In a statement provided to PEOPLE, London Clinic CEO Al Russell spoke out about the breach. “All of us at The London Clinic are acutely aware of our individual, professional, ethical and legal duties regarding patient confidentiality.”

Russell also stated that the Clinic prides itself on the excellent care and discretion it aims to provide to patients. “We have systems in place to monitor the management of patient information and, in the event of any non-compliance, all appropriate investigative, regulatory and disciplinary action will be taken. “There is no place in our hospital for those who intentionally violate the trust of any of our patients or colleagues.”

London’s Metropolitan Police also said it had no knowledge of the incident. A spokesperson for Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said there are strict rules on patient data that must be followed.

“I think we all want to support the Princess of Wales and the Prince of Wales,” the spokesperson said. “And we wish him the quickest recovery.”
