Kate Middleton and Prince William learn new survival skills during a lesson with students at Forest School

Princess Catherine (aka Kate Middleton) and Prince William picked up some new survival skills during a visit to Madley Primary School Forest School in Hereford, England, on Thursday (September 14).

The Prince and Princess of Wales, 41, took part in some lessons with students at the school. People noticed that they helped prepare things for a campfire and build a den in the trees.

They coordinated with dark blazers for the outing. Princess Catherine wore hers over a black shirt and pants, while Prince William completed his outfit with dress pants and a button-down shirt.

While in Hereford, the royal also visited We Are Farming Minds, a charity based at Kings Pitt Farm.

Earlier this week, we learned what happened to the princess after she was spotted with some bandaged fingers while visiting a men’s prison.
