Kashilinga Adake, also known as Kashi-Missile, was born on Friday, 18 December 1992 (age 31 years; as in 2023) in Kasegaon village, Sangli, Maharashtra. Their zodiac sign is Sagittarius. Adake was interested in sports since childhood and later, he joined SAI (Sports Authority of India) Academy for Kabaddi training.

Pro Kabbadi League
In Season 1 of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), he made his debut and represented Dabang Delhi for the first four seasons.
However, in season 5, he joined U Mumba. During that season, he achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the first player in PKL history to score 15 raid points in the first half of a match.
He was then picked by Bengaluru Bulls in the Season 6 auction.
In Seasons 1, 2, 3 and 4, Kashiling emerged as the leading scorer in raid points for Dabang Delhi KC. He was also the top raider in Season 2. Furthermore, in Season 5, he continued to showcase his talent while remaining on top. Raiding chart for U Mumba.
international career
Kashiling Adake’s talent was recognized when she was selected to represent the Indian Kabaddi team for the 2014 Asian Beach Games. His skills earned him a place in the prestigious South Asian Games in 2015, where India won and took the gold medal. However, he was not selected for the 2016 World Cup where the Indian team won the gold medal.

Arrested in rape case
In March 2015, a female Kabaddi player from Kolhapur district had filed a police complaint against Kashilinga, accusing her of rape and harassment. Charges were filed against him under sections 376 (2) (rape), 323 (assault), 504 (intentional insult), and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code. Although he was arrested, he was later released on bail.
Caught on charges of illegal gambling
Kashilinga was caught along with seven others for gambling in his native village in 2020. During the action, police seized valuables worth Rs 1.61 lakh. All eight arrested persons were brought to the local court but were granted bail. The police successfully seized various gambling-related items, such as notebooks, papers, cards and other materials, which were being used in illegal activity.

- Kashilinga was a farmer before he started training Kabaddi professionally. Temporarily setting aside his sporting aspirations, he decided to take up employment in a sugarcane factory. Despite working long hours and even relying on one meal every few days, his unwavering passion for Kabaddi remained intact.
- When he first went for trials at the SAI Academy in 2007, he was rejected. He worked on himself and was successful in securing a spot in the next trial round in 2008.
- He was first approached by Indian Railways but he chose to play with Bharat Petroleum instead.
- After receiving a monthly stipend of Rs 5,500 from Mahindra for his Kabaddi skills, he attracted the attention of the national team and later scouts from the Pro Kabaddi League.
- Edke was coached by E Bhaskaran, head coach of Tamil Thalaivas (2018–2019).
- While living in Dabang Delhi, Adake’s jersey number was 11.
- He is known for his “Frog Jump” move, which is widely considered to be one of the most amazing moves in Kabaddi. This involves pushing the attacker off the ground, making contact with one or more defenders while in the air, and landing beyond their grasp.
- Surprisingly, Kashiling Adake was among the unexpected players who were not selected during the PKL auction for the 2019 season.
- His record of most points scored by a player in a single game in the second season against Tamil Titans was broken by Pardeep Narwal of Patna Pirates in the third season.
