Kamal Menghrajani is an Indian-American oncologist. He has been appointed to the 2023-2024 class of White House Fellows, which provides the opportunity to work at the highest level of the United States federal government. She is working with the Cancer Moonshot and Health Outcomes teams in the Office of Science and Technology Policy in the Executive Office of the President.

In 2011, Kamal Mengharjani received the Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, a 3-year postgraduate degree in Medicine, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. In July 2020, he completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biostatistics at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York. She is a member of the Global Health team at the Mailman School of Public Health.

livelihood

She was the co-founder of Nourish International, a student movement that works on the effects of extreme poverty. He worked for this organization from January 2003 to May 2006. In August 2006, she joined the National Institutes of Health as an NCI Research Fellow and worked there for 11 months. In June 2007, she joined ABC News as a medical unit reporter and worked for the next three months. From June 2012 to June 2015, he served at Michigan Medicine, based in Ann Arbor, as a resident physician. In July 2015, she joined Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a fellow. Within a year she became Chief Fellow and in August 2018, she was promoted to an attending physician. He resigned from his job in August 2023. He has been appointed by US President Joe Biden to the 2023-2024 class of White House Fellows, an opportunity to work at the highest level of the federal government in Washington, District of Columbia, United States.
