Career
Before shifting to Mumbai in 1991, Jyothy Lakshmi Krishna had no intentions of becoming a painter. After reaching Mumbai, Jyothy was persuaded by her friends and family to take up painting as a profession. According to Jyothy Lakshmi Krishna, she never had formal training in painting, and she learned the art through a few online certification courses. Jyothy owns an online art gallery, where she exhibits her drawings and paintings for visitors, where the visitors can also buy her artworks. Jyothy Lakshmi Krishna’s paintings are a blend of realism and abstract. Through her paintings, she depicts various moods, emotions, and thoughts.
