Justin Morrow is an American former professional soccer player. Justin Morrow is the executive director of Black Players for Change, which won the MLS Humanitarian of the Year award in 2020.
Early life
Justin was born on October 4, 1987, in Cleveland, Ohio, United States. She has not revealed any information about her parents, but has posted a photo of her mother on her Instagram account. However, she has not mentioned her siblings nor has she posted about them on her social media.
This former player attended Saint Ignatius High School. There, he was an Adidas/NSCAA high school All-American. Additionally, he played college football at the University of Notre Dame. During his senior year, he was a Big East Academic All-Star in both his sophomore and junior years, as well as the captain of his team.
Additionally, he scored seven goals and made 89 appearances during his college career. While in college, the player also played for the Cleveland Internationals, the Indiana Invaders, and the Chicago Fire Premier in the USL Premier Development League.

Justin Morrow – Career
Justin began his career as a football player during his college days. He was selected in the second round, 28th overall, of the 2010 MLS SuperDraft by the San Jose Earthquakes. However, the player made his professional debut and scored his first goal in a US Open Cup match against Real Salt Lake on April 14, 2010.
On May 1, 2010, he made his MLS debut against the Colorado Rapids. After struggling to break into the first XI, the player was loaned to USSF Division 2 club FC Tampa Bay on September 7, 2010. Additionally, he returned to the San Jose squad for the start of the 2011 season, but was loaned again to FC Tampa Bay on July 14, 2011.
This loan was short-lived as the player was recalled to San Jose on July 25, 2011. In 2012, he stood out as a starter in 33 games as the Earthquakes were surprise winners of the Supporters’ Shield. However, he was named to his first All-Star Game. Subsequently, he was traded to Toronto FC after the 2013 season.
On December 10, 2016, following a 0–0 draw against the Seattle Sounders in the 2016 MLS Cup Final at BMO Field, he missed Toronto’s sixth penalty in the resulting shootout. This allowed Román Torres to take the title for Seattle after scoring the following penalty.

In the 2017 MLS regular season, Justin scored his first career hat-trick in the club’s 4–2 home win against the New York Red Bulls on September 30, 2017. This earned Toronto FC their first Supporters’ Shield. Furthermore, on February 23, 2021, he signed again for Toronto FC.
