The stars are coming out for Michael J. Fox’s big event.
Newlyweds Justin Long and Kate Bosworth were a perfect couple when they arrived at The Michael J. Fox Foundation presents something curious that happened on the path to curing Parkinson’s event on Saturday night (November 11) held at Cipriani South Street in New York City.
Other stars in attendance included Julianne Moore and her husband Bart Freundlich, Michael’s Return to the future co-star Christopher Lloyd, Keegan-Michael Key and his wife Elisa, comedian Ronny Chieng, comedian Michelle Buteau and her husband Gijs van der Most, along with Joan Jett.
Michael was joined on the red carpet by his wife Tracy Pollan and three of his four children: twin daughters Schuyler and Aquinnah, 28, and son Sam, 34.
While walking the red carpet, Justin shared how Michael inspired him to become an actor.
“His humor and timing. And his comedy is just brilliant,” Justin said. People of some of your favorite things about Michael. “He’s really the reason I became an actor.”
He added: “I admired him a lot as a child and I admire him exponentially now as a man.”
In a recent interview, Michael revealed who the famous friend was who inspired him to retire.
