Leave the world behindThe supporting cast includes Mahershala Ali, Charlie Evans, Farrah Mackenzie and Myha’la Herrold. The film opens in limited theaters on November 22 and on Netflix on December 8, 2023.
The official synopsis reads: “In this apocalyptic thriller from award-winning writer and director Sam Esmail (mr robot), Amanda (Roberts) and her husband Clay (Hawke), rent a luxurious house for the weekend with their children, Archie (Evans) and Rose (Mackenzie). Their vacation soon changes when two strangers, GH (Ali) and his daughter Ruth (Herrold), arrive at night, bringing news of a mysterious cyberattack and seeking refuge in the house they say is theirs. The two families face an impending disaster that grows more terrifying by the minute, forcing everyone to accept their place in a collapsing world.
