“I’ve been gallbladder-free for two weeks now and I finally feel much better. Thank you and lots of kisses to everyone who stopped by and checked me out ❤️,” Julia wrote along with a sweet selfie with a wink.

The gallbladder is a “pear-shaped organ located just below the liver, in the upper right part of the abdomen. The gallbladder collects and stores bile, a digestive fluid produced in the liver,” according to the Mayo Clinic.

The surgical procedure to remove the gallbladder is called cholecystectomy and is recommended in cases where there are gallstones in the gallbladder or bile duct. Surgery is also recommended if there is inflammation of the gallbladder, large polyps in the gallbladder, or inflammation of the pancreas.

A few years ago, Julia slammed body shamers.

We’re glad to hear that Julia Michaels is feeling better.
