Career
Josh Popper began his career in football before moving into boxing. During his sophomore year of college in 2011, he recorded 22 tackles, three for loss, two sacks and even an interception. In 2013, he was named to the NJAC All-Conference First Team and started all 12 games.
Additionally, he recorded 65 tackles, 11.5 for loss, 2.5 sacks, two interceptions, one of which he recovered for a score, and two defensive passes. He attempted to join the National Football League (NFL). However, he was never drafted by any NFL team.

After this, he pivoted his career as a professional boxer but could not reach the top level or did not have a great career. As a result, he began training young boxers and opened his own boxing training center called Bredwinners in February 2021.
