Joe Wilkison is an English comedian, actor and writer. Joe Wilkison started his career in a local pub and now he’s landed on Netflix.
Early life Childhood
Born in May 2, 1975Joe is now 48 years. He is the son of Brian Wilkinson and Stella Wilkinson. Although he was born in Bromley, he grew up in Kent and spent most of his youth there. Apart from this, he has not talked about having a brother or his educational background.

Career and professional life
Joe began his career in 2004 at a local pub hosting an open mic. He then continued to perform for large and small audiences. Gradually, in 2008, he toured and performed at big venues like the Edinburgh Fringe and Bloomsbury Theatre.
Television
He got his first television show in 2010. He debuted with the comedy show Robert’s Web in which he played various characters. That same year, he also appeared on ‘Live at the Apollo’, ‘the Rob Brydon Show’, ‘The Wright Stuff’, ‘Show & Tell’, ‘Comedy Lab’ and ‘My Funniest Year’. Similarly, he regularly participates in popular British shows such as ‘Have I Got News for You’, ‘Mock the Week’ and ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks’.
Among all the shows she has participated in, she gained great recognition in ‘8 Out of 10 Cats’. She initially started out as Rachel Riley’s assistant, however, she later made regular appearances on the spin-off show, ‘8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown’.
In addition to acting, Wilkinson has also contributed as a writer to the series Anna and Katy. She has also written some episodes of ‘Show and Tell’ and ‘My Funniest Year’. Similarly, she co-wrote and appeared in the 2016 series ‘Rovers’. She made her Netflix debut in the role of Jeffrey in the 2019 series ‘Sex Education’. Recently, she starred in the three-part Gold sitcom The Cockfields. She is also a co-writer of the series that aired in 2019.

As a comedian, Wilkinson has done two major tours: My Mum’s Called Stella and My Dad’s Called Brian.[13] and The Joe Wilkinson Experience. However, the tours met with mixed reviews.
Since 2014, Wilkinson began appearing in commercials and doing voiceovers for advertisements. Furthermore, she also appeared in a special episode of ‘The Great British Bake Off’, where she won Star Baker.

Since the beginning of his career, Joe has been achieving new levels of success. He has risen to become one of Britain’s greatest comedians. In between, he also won Hackney Empire’s 2016 New Act of the Year award.
