We hope Jimmy Buffett is feeling better now!
The 76-year-old music legend canceled a show this weekend after being hospitalized for an undisclosed condition while in Boston.
Jimmy posted a letter on his website explaining the situation.
“Two days ago, I had just returned from a trip to the Bahamas, thawing out from the ‘winter tour’ of California and eager to get to Charleston. Had to stop in Boston for a checkup but ended up back at the hospital to address some issues that needed immediate attention,” Jimmy wrote.
He continued: “Getting old is not for sissies, I promise you. I also promise that when I’m well enough to perform, that’s what I’ll do in the land of crab bisque. You all make my life more meaningful and fulfilling than I ever imagined as a kid sitting on the shore of the Gulf of Mexico. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts, your incredible years of loyalty, and remember, ‘NOT YET!’ Love to all JB”.
Jimmy’s team wrote: “The Jimmy Buffett & the Coral Reefer Band concert at Credit One Stadium in Charleston, scheduled for this Saturday, May 20, is being rescheduled. All previously purchased tickets will be valid for the new date once it is announced. More information will be emailed to ticket buyers directly.”
