BBR Music Group shared a statement about leaving Billboard.
“In light of today’s allegations against Jimmie Allen, BBR Music Group has decided to cease all activity with him, effective immediately,” the statement read.
According to the outlet, that activity also includes promoting his current single, “Be Alright.”
On top of that, it also emerged that Jimmie’s wife, Alexis, moved to make their separation permanent by filing for divorce.
According to ET, Alexis filed for divorce on April 28, and in the docs, Jimmie is asking for joint custody of their two daughters and the unborn child. Alexis adds that her shared children would live primarily with her.
“The wife would show that it is in the best interest of the parties’ minor children for the wife to be named primary residential parent of the parties’ minor children with reasonable parenting time for the husband at the time of the parties’ divorce in this case.”
Alexis and Jimmie first announced their separation just a week before the divorce papers were due to be filed.
