Jhon Durán began his professional football career with Envigado FC back in 2019. At the age of 15, he made his professional debut with the club on February 10, 2019, with a 1-0 victory against Alianza Petrolera for Primera A. For the club, he played since the year 2019 until 2021. In October 2020, The Guardian named him one of the “60 best young talents in international football.”
